Diamond Cadets

About our team

The Diamond Cadets are the Junior Corps of the Blue Diamonds Nienhagen. Children who are between 8 and 16 years old and interested in music and dance learn here under professional and professional guidance an instrument or dealing with the elements of the Color Guard.

Youth attendants and trainers look after the children during training, performances and events. The young musicians are provided with instruments and uniforms by the association. In addition to the regular practice sessions in the week also practice weekends and training camps outside of Nienhagen held to prepare the children for the performances. The Diamond Cadets perform several times a year, including at rifle festivals, parades, sports and music events. The highlight of the current season is participation in the European Drum & Bugle Corps Championships in Kerkrade (Netherlands) in Junior Class.

.... Our program this year

Real heroes in pantyhose are not always just Robin Hood and his entourage. This year, in addition to the Avengers, there are also our Cadets, which develop their superpowers.

Under the direction of Drum Major Lena-Sophie Döring, the Junior Corps shows titles from well-known films.

For all children from 6 years!

Would you like to play music or dance together with other children? Then take part in our freestyler project!

The program lasts three months, is FREE and has no further obligations. After the three months you can see if it's fun and if you want to continue. The aim should be that you can participate in a spectacular performance, integrated into the show of the Diamond Cadets, at the German Open in Hameln and at the European Championships in Kerkrade in the Netherlands. As a special highlight, this year we will even be part of the Diamond Cadets at a drum corps competition in England.
